Simple Hummus Vegetable Sandwich
Hello, welcome back or to my food blog! My name is Jolly and today I will be showing you how to make my Simple Hummus Vegetable Sandwich. Not only is this delicious, but it's a great way to get in protein and vegetables. So, follow along with me as I show you how to make my Simple Hummus Vegetable Sandwich!

Recipe
Yield: 1 serving
Time: 6 minutes
Diet: Vegan (It can be gluten free. Look at notes below.)
2 slices of seeded whole grain bread
2 tablespoons of hummus
10 slices of a cucumber
1/4 of an avocado
8 leaves of basil
Cooking Tools:
Toaster
Knife
Cutting board
Plate for eating on
Instructions:
First, put your slices of seeded whole grain bread in the toaster.
While that toasts, with your knife on a cutting board cut 10 slices of a cucumber. Then, cut your avocado into 4 slices. After that, pick your basil leaves off of your plant or stem.
Once the bread slices are toasted, spread 1 tablespoon of hummus on each slice. Then, lay 5 slices of cucumber on each half. Make sure to distribute evenly. Add 2 slices of avocado on each slice of bread. Place 4 leaves of basil on each slice.
Finally, combine the 2 slices together before cutting in half or eating whole.
Quick and easy foods just became delicious :)
Notes:
1. This recipe can become gluten free by using gluten free bread instead of gluten bread.
2. Any type of hummus works. I used roasted red pepper hummus.
3. Try your best to cut the cucumber into thin slices.
