Refreshing Summer Salad

Hello, welcome back or to my food blog! My name is Jolly and today I will be showing you how to make my Refreshing Summer Salad. Not only is this the perfect thing to serve for those hot days during summer, but it's incredibly simple. So, follow along with me as I show you my Refreshing Summer Salad!

Recipe

Yield: 1 serving 
Time:  8 minutes
Diet: Gluten Free, Vegan 

Ingredients:
6 mini cherry tomatoes 
1/4 of an avocado 
1/2 of a medium apple 
1 cup of baby spring mix (packed)
2 tbsp of olive oil
2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar 
1 tbsp of lemon juice 
Optional: 1/2 tsp of lemon zest

Cooking Tools:
Knife 
Cutting Board 
Bowl for eating
Fork for eating  
1 cup
Tbsp
Tsp
Optional: Zester 


Instructions:
First, gather all of your ingredients and cooking tools. Then, cut your tomatoes in halves, avocado into cubes, and apples into cubes. 

Next, measure out a cup of packed baby spring mix and pour it out into your eating bowl. 

Now, pour in your olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice (1.) Using your hands (2.) mix and massage the liquids into the greens. 

Once the liquids are fully incorporated, add in your cherry tomatoes, avocados, and apples. 

Mix everything together before eating.

1. If you choose to incorporate lemon zest, add it in here. 

2. Make sure they are clean and washed.
