Healthy 4 Ingredient Waffles
Hello, welcome back or to my food blog! My name is Jolly and today I will be introducing to you my famous waffle recipe. Not only are these incredibly easy, but they are delicious too. So, follow along with me as I show you how to make the best Healthy 4 Ingredient Waffles!

Recipe
Yield: 1 serving
Time: 10 minutes
Diet: Vegan
1/4 cup of flour
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1/8 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of almond milk
(Olive oil spray for the waffle iron)
Baking Tools:
Waffle Iron
Bowl
1/4 cup
1/4 teaspoon
Whisk
(Fork and knife to eat)
Instructions:
First, you will want to start off by combining the flour and the baking powder. Once you have whisked those two ingredients together, add the almond milk and olive oil. Then whisk until well combined.
Next, heat up your waffle iron. Before you put the waffle batter on the iron, make sure to grease it. If you don't grease it the waffle will stick to the iron and make for a very long and inconvenient clean-up process. Once you have done so put the batter on the iron and cook for 5 minutes.
When you are done, remove the waffle from the iron. I top mine with a handful of blueberries, blackberries, and a light drizzle of maple syrup, but it's up to you on how you want to handle your waffle from here.

Notes:
1. You can use any type of milk, I just chose almond milk for this.
2. You can use any type of oil, I just chose olive oil for this.
3. Depending on your waffle iron you may need to cook it for longer. 5 minutes makes it so that it is crispy on the outside, but fluffy and soft on the inside. If you prefer a different type of waffle, feel free to adjust the cooking time. Just make sure the waffle does not stick and can be removed easily.

DeleteI love that it is such an easy recipe to follow. But I think the best part of it is that there is no dairy or sugar included, and yet it tastes so good. How do you make it super buttery without butter? What's your secret?
ReplyDeleteHello! Yes, the goal is definitely to make it an easy process. I think the buttery taste comes from the olive oil even though olive oil and butter are completely different. I hope this information helps!
