Recipe
Yield: 4 serving Time: 35 minutesDiet: Gluten Free, Vegan
Ingredients:1/2 cup of oats 1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/4 cup of peanut butter1 tablespoon of coconut oil1 tablespoons of maple syrup 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
Baking Tools:1 bowl1 spoon1/4 cup 1 tablespoonParchment paperBaking trayBaking rack
Instructions:First, preheat your oven to 350°. While the oven preheats, combine your dry ingredients: oats and baking soda. Then add into the same bowl the wet ingredients: peanut butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Mix until well combined.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper (as pictured). Then place your cookies on the tray and bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
Once your cookies are out of the oven, let then cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before removing them and placing them on a cooling rack (as pictured) for another 5 minutes until serving.
After that, you are done! :)
Notes:1. Any type of oats works. For this recipe I used quick oats.
2. Any type of chocolate chip works. For this recipe I used semi-sweet chocolate chips.
3. You only need a 1/4 of a cup for this recipe because you can use it to form a 1/2 of a cup by using it twice.
4. Using a baking tray is optional, however the place you choose to cool them on must be room temperature or cold.
